Being the OG “American Idol” afforded Kelly Clarkson the good life… if you’ve got $1.495 million, you can buy it too.
According to the real estate blog Zillow, Clarkson just put her Mansfield, Texas ranch up for sale.
The 14 acre home, not far from where she grew up in Burleson, was built in 1993, but has been heavily customized by Clarkson during her time there.
It boasts 4 bedrooms, 6 baths, has 6,880 square feet of living space, and includes dual master suites, a theater room and a gym.
The grounds that could inspire any couch potato to leave their seat, features a man-made pond, lap and diving pools, dog runs, walking trails and a pretty damn cool tree house. Yeah, a tree house. It’s two stories even!
Kelly has called this her primary residence for herself and a small zoo of rescue animals that includes several dogs, horses, miniature horses and a few pigs. Cute.
So what’s bringing on the change for the singing songwriting pop sensation? Could it be her mentoring responsibilities on her new show “Duets” is requiring her to become an L.A. local?
Or is it maybe that she wants to become a Nashville citizen (a city she has also previously owned a part time home in) to be closer to the object of her affections, her talent manager boyfriend Brandon Blackstock?
Well, wherever Kelly happens to go next, we hope she brings her pets… and the tree house, cause that’s just cool.
