Kelly Clarkson Battles Bulimia

Kelly Clarkson is a curvy girl and is proud of her curves, but that wasn't always the case. The singer has admitted that she suffered from bulimia in her teens.

She missed out on a role in a high school musical which was the cause of her half a year battle with the eating disorder.

She tells Cosmo Girl, "I thought if I come back and I'm cuter and thinner... then I'll get the role. I became bulimic for the next six months. One of my guy friends caught on to it, and I just felt so ashamed and embarrassed."

However, Clarkson ended her bulimic suffering without outside help. She adds, "I literally went cold turkey and snapped out of it."
