Kelly Clarkson fired her manager Jeff Kwatinetz earlier this week. Many people believe the reason she fired her manager was because she was at war with Sony BMG’s boss Clive Davis, but couldn’t really fire him so she chose the next best thing.
The reason for all the fighting has been because everyone except Kelly thought her third album was really crappy and that pissed her off considering the fact that she wrote almost all the songs.
"Clive was trying to stop her from jumping off a cliff." Kwatinetz, who treated Clarkson like "a little sister," was said to be "shocked." "She's not happy, and she can't fire Clive, so she fired Jeff," said the source.
Doesn’t it seem like most musician goes through the same thing? They do what it takes to make it and then they wanna take control but they have contractual obligations to the big dogs. Didn’t Britney Spears go through the same thing Kelly is going through now? They should just listen to the people with A LOT of experience. Those people obviously know what it takes to make a good album!
