Singer Kelis Files for Divorce from Rapper Nas

Another one bites the dust. Despite being seven months pregnant, Milkshake singer Kelis has filed for divorce from her rapper hubby Nas.

Citing "Irreconcilable Differences" as the reason for the split, Kelis filed paperwork in L.A. County Superior Court on Thursday, April 30th, reports TMZ.

"We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time," her rep told People magazine.

The couple tied the knot in Atlanta back in 2005 and is expecting their first child together. We really thought these two were going to make it work, but we were wrong.
