Knightley is pear-shaped. She has a very thin upper torso but short legs, chunky calves, and thighs that look heavy in proportion to her arms and upper chest. Take a close look at "Atonement". In the famous green dress, which covers her legs but reveals her arms and shoulders (and she is probably also wearing high heels), she looks extremely thin. In the chemise-like undergarment in which she dives into the fountain for the vase, her short, thick legs are clearly revealed. (She is also barefoot in that scene.) In other words, Knightley is not anorexic; she's just built differently in the two different parts of her body. I have the same type of body, and peopel react differently to it depending on how the clothes I'm wearing reveal it.

Women are vicious toward each other when it comes to things like this. A woman will attack the way another woman looks simply because she secretly wishes she looked like the woman she's attacking. It's really disheartening. It must be horrible to be a celebrity and have everyone scrutinzing the way you look all the time. I doubt the normal everyday person could handle such things. Is Keira a bit thin? Perhaps, but she's quite obviously fit. Look at her abs. When one loses weight in an unhealthy fashion, one does not automatically get a six-pack. She's a beautiful young woman who possesses a figure most women would love to have. And by the way, there IS a such thing as large-framed, medium-framed, and small-framed. Not all skeletons look alike, genius! The larger your frame, the more you can weigh without looking fat. The smaller your frame, the less weight you can gain without looking over-weight.

Keira is sexy and not too skinny. In an obese world it is pretty easy to blame minorities for not going with the flow. It is the scapegoat principle, the obese rest of the world enjoys its food misuse far more with this principle than without it.

I agree with Lala, I mean there is a different BODY FRAME, but generally it doesn't have an extreme impact on weight. Regardless, I think she's okay. She could be worse. She's really cute though. (:

Believe it or not, there is no such thing as big boned or skinny boned. Its a fact, our bones are all pretty much the same size, some stronger and healthier then others. Keira definetly has something wrong with her to think shes large for hollywood. Nobody is as skinny as her. She needs to gain about 15-20 pounds. She looks awful.
