A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “When they were both in New York for the music awards Russell finally got his chance to work his charm on her.
“Katy knows his bad boy reputation but could not resist – especially when Russell sent her a love poem with a note attached saying, ‘Please send me a poem back.’
“Russell couldn’t stop laughing when Katy sent a photo of her boobs with the word ‘poem’ scrawled across them. The next minute Russell picked up the phone and invited her to Thailand for a secret getaway.”
Katy was so impressed she twittered about her secret getaway as soon as she got back. Russell also Twittered while on vacation. He told his Twitter fans he was looking at “sexy” statues in Thailand.
The couple first fueled hookup rumors when they were caught making out at Lady Gaga's VMA after party at Avenue in New York.
Luckily Katy is well aware of Russell's bad boy reputation, so hopefully it's just a fun fling and she doesn't get her heart broken over it.
