Katy Perry's Song Results In Student Suspension

In a throwback to the classic 1984 Footloose years, Katy Perry's music has apparently gotten a group of well meaning kids in Texas suspended.

Two girls on the twirl team were supposedly suspended from attending upcoming football games for performing a little number to Katy Perry's hit song, "I Kissed A Girl" at a pep rally.

For some reason, the teachers at the school deemed the performance to be inappropriately racy and reprimanded the girls. What would Footloose stars Kevin Bacon and Sarah Jessica Parker have to say about all of this?
