Katy Perry Slams Russell Brand During 2012 Grammy Performance
Katy Perry might not be publically saying much about her break up with Russell Brand, but she's now pulling a Taylor Swift and getting it all out in song.

Perry took the stage at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards Show, dressed in full superhero costume to perform her hit 'E.T.' She then debuted her kick-ass breakup song, 'Part of Me'. The single is from the special edition of her double-platinum certified album, 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.'

In the song, Katy sings: "Now look at me, I’m sparking/A firework, a dancing flame/You won’t ever put me out again"

I mean, she knows we know she's thinking about Russell Brand when she sings that. The newly single Katy performed the lines with the kind of "screw men" attitude that can only be topped by the likes of Kelly Clarkson.

"You chewed me up and spit me out/Like I was poison in your mouth/You took my light, you drained me down...You ripped me off, your love was cheap." Katy sang.

She even tweaked the original lyrics to match her current situation with Brand. One line originally read "You can keep the dog from me, I never liked him anyway." For the show, Perry sang "Keep your diamond ring/In fact, you can keep everything...Except for me."

Last week, Perry and Brand signed papers to finalize their divorce in June; despite not having a prenup, Brand did not request spousal support or a share of Perry's massive fortune. Perry signed her documents with a smiley face.
