Hey, they said it was amicable.
The settlement includes Russell saying ‘no thanks’ to half of Katy’s fortune, which he is entitled to by law. The document states: "The parties have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party."
Katy is worth approximately $40 million, so Russell could’ve walked away with $20 million. Math: I did it.
'Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage,” Brand said in a statement when he originally announced his divorce to Katy. “I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends.”
Not only will Katy be walking away with her millions, she’ll be taking back her maiden name as well. The box is checked next to: “Respondent’s former name be restored.”
Well, that was easy. And the cherry on top? Katy signed the docs with a little smiley face. This is the most fun divorce ever!
Meanwhile, rumors have surfaced that Russell has moved on to a couple of different girls. Katy’s been linked to a backup dancer and then propositioned Tim Tebow at a pre-Super Bowl performance on Saturday.
“Hi Tim, my parents said hi,” Katy said before the show. Then, later on, before singing “let me see your peacock” from her track Peacock, Katy said:
“This song is for Tim Tebow.”
