Katy Perry may have had an amazing 2008, but she started '09 on a bad note.

Travis McCoy ended their relationship right before the New Year, leaving Perry to ring in the New Year solo.
Perry, who was hosting Gridlock New Year's Eve on the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood performed and chanted to the crowd, "Happy f--king New Year, everyone," while Travis was busy posting a breakup poem on his website.
"We fight every night, now that's not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, You act like you're ten," Travis wrote.
Although we don't know the exact details behind the split, one things for sure--Travis ended it.
Dealing with the aftermath of the breakup, Katy says she's still hurting. While performing at L.A.'s Hotel Cafe Monday night, she told the crowd, "It hurts right now."
"When you break up with someone you move on. You don't really want to move on ... but you have to because they don't give you any choice," she added before forcing herself to declare, "But I'm over it!"
Doesn't sound like you're "over it" to us. We liked these two together, they seemed to mesh well. Maybe Travis will have a change of heart and give their relationship another chance. And if not, who do you think Katy would make a good match with?
