Katy Perry says she’s sick of being famous. I know, me too, it’s just like so hard having all those screaming fans with their annoying cries of “will you sign this?” And it totally sucks when you have to walk the red carpet and Givenchy is like “wear this dress for free” and then once a year you have to do the terrible thing of appearing on the Kid’s Choice Awards and get slimed. God, being famous is awful, I totally know how you feel Katy Perry.
Katy Perry covered Teen Vogue and talked about how being famous is the worst.
“I’m tired of being famous already!” says Katy, “But I’m not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It’s quite a delicate creature – it’s a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you.”
Ughh, what’s next…Katy confesses that she was bullied in middle school? No, let’s save those quotes for regular Vogue.
Katy, despite her blue hair and marriage to a sex addict, wants you to think that she’s normal and down-to-earth.
“I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible – when I meet fans and they’re crying, I’ll say, ‘Calm down, there’s nothing to cry about. I’m not going to bite you or attack you or grant you three wishes,” says Katy.
Wait, Katy Perry doesn’t grant wishes? Dammit. I was rubbing that lamp for nothing!
