Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes get intimate with New York Times magazine in this Sunday’s edition.
Not only did they each get their own old-Hollywood glam cover photo for the magazines "Holiday/Reinvention" issue, but they sat down for New York Times magazine’s screen test, where the main topic was Suri, sprinkled with a few details about her parents.
Katie also touches on how the public views her, saying, "There’s a misperception about me that I just became this wallflower, this woman who doesn't have any control of her life. And that's pretty wrong. From the very beginning, I've made choices in my life that have been very strong."
Putting in his two cents, Tom said, "At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject," Cruise adds. "I wanted to ask her." He also added that he bought her an engagement ring shortly after their first date back in 2005.
Tom waited a whopping two months after meeting Katie before he proposed to her at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. With a proposal like that, anyone would have had a hard time saying no. Pick up a copy of New York Times magazine this coming Sunday, and check out the Mr. And Mrs.’ screen tests HERE.
