Katie Holmes Makes Her Big Broadway Debut

Actress Katie Holmes made her big theater debut last night in NYC and stars including Barbara Walters, Blythe Danner, and Isabella Rossellini were there to show support.

"I was very, very excited!" Katie told People magazine. "We had my whole family. Tom's whole family. Friends flew in. It's exciting."

Unfortunately, not everyone in the crowd was friendly. Knowing the media and paparazzi would be nearby, anti-Scientology protesters came out to try and make their voices heard. The yelled "Save Katie, Keep Tom" and "Scientology Kills."

For the most part, their efforts were wasted as Tom and Katie rushed through a back entrance before the loud chanting even began.
