Tom Cruise’s mini visitation with his daughter Suri has come to an end. After her whirlwind plane ride to the Hamptons and paparazzi attacks with dad, Suri is back to doing normal things with her mom, like going to gymnastics classes.
Katie Holmes was spotted walking solo to Chelsea Piers to pick Suri up from gym class. Suri was apparently dropped off at gym class by members of Tom’s security team, meaning, Tom and Katie have still been able to do the joint custody thing without having to see/speak to one another.
I wonder if it’s because they can’t stand the sight of each other, or because they don’t want to deal with the paparazzi war zone that would break out if all three of them were spotted in the same place together?
Katie was all smiles as she headed to pick up Suri, probably because she loves her daughter but it also might be because she just signed on to make her return to Broadway in the upcoming play “Dead Accounts.”
It’s her first big career move post divorce and will hit the stage this Fall. It’s sure to be a big deal because it was penned by “Smash” creator Theresa Rebeck.
This should be a piece of cake for Katie who appeared on Broadway in 2008 in Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons.”
Now that Katie is no longer Tom Cruise’s wife, she can finally flex those acting muscles we’ve all been wondering if she still had.
