Anti-Scientology Groups After Katie Holmes

Tom Cruise is not going to be happy about this one! An anti-Scientology group is planning a protest next month when Katie Holmes takes the stage for her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons."

Members of the anonymous Anti-Scientology group plan on picketing the theatre in protest against the controversial religion on October 16th.

A rep for the group tells MSNBC.com that the protest will go ahead, adding: "We aren't looking to shut it (All My Sons) down, we don't have the power to do that, we just want to prove a point.

“We want to draw attention to Scientology, and hopefully get Katie out of it before it's too late.”

The group shouldn't be too hard to spot, they usually protest in faceless masks. Hey, they say there's no such thing as bad publicity so maybe the protestors will actually help ticket sales.

WOW. Since WHEN would people pay HUNDREDS of dollars to go see a play they wouldn't normally go see, just so they can see a protest....OUTSIDE FOR FREE. Thats the most absurd thing I've ever heard!!! If the play is good, people will go see it, if it's crap they won't. No amount of protesting will boost sales, not when they're in the hundreds of dollars. And NO Jay they are not the ones spreading "rumours" about ticket sales. Google it. Unless Anonymous are ticket brokers....here's a quote from a ticket broker “I bought 1,000 tickets to the show. I still have them,” one broker says.
