Most celebrity twitters are just a crappy newsfeed maintained by the celebs assistant, posting tweets about album release dates and other things we can figure out with a basic google search.

Some celebrity twitterer's are just plain boring and tweet too much about the bagel they just ate or how cute their dog looks in the bow-tie that was just gifted to them by "Hollywood Doggie Bow-Ties R Us." I'm kidding, I have no idea if that's a real dog bow-tie company.

But here are 10 celebrity Twitter accounts that are worthy of following mostly because they are ridiculous, sometimes funny, and occasionally informative.

Katie Couric will have her own daytime, syndicated talk show on ABC. Great. Another platform to show off her colonoscopies.

ABC announced the deal today, and Katie will be host and producer. Katie’s Today show mentor, Jeff Zucker, will serve as Executive Producer.

She’s rumored to be taking over the 3 PM time slot, but will Katie fill the Oprah void? While she has the credentials, part of Oprah’s success was her assertive, borderline aggressive attitude.

After five years on the Today Show, Meredith Vieira announced this morning that she's leaving the show next month to take care of her ill husband.

Anchor Ann Curry will replace Meredith alongside Matt Lauer. So far no word on whether Matt will stay on board once his contract expires next year.

"This is a difficult day for me. I'm trying hard to hold it together," Vieira said while laughing and holding back tears. Her final day will be "in a few weeks," said co-host Matt Lauer.

Katie Couric has finally announced she is indeed leaving the CBS Evening News.

“I'm really proud of the talented team on the CBS Evening News and the award-winning work we've been able to do in the past five years in addition to the reporting I've done for 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning. In making the decision to move on, I know the Evening News will be in great hands, but I am excited about the future.”

Translated: “Find someone else to do your damn stories on a man and a goose becoming friends.”

Couric says she is “looking at a format that will allow me to engage in more multi-dimensional storytelling."

Katie, if it involves another look inside your poop chute, no thank you. "I have a lot of areas of interest and I want to be able to fulfill all of that,” Couric continued.

There were reports last week that Katie Couric may be leaving CBS for CNN to replace Larry king , but now we're hearing that a big piece of CNN may be joining the CBS family. And that big piece is Anderson Cooper

So are the two networks just doing a fair trade? It would make sense, with Anderson already being a contributer to 60 Minutes, and Larry King a whopping 74 years old.

Anderson could definitely hold his own as news anchor, but is CNN looking at another flop if they let Katie replace Larry?
Katie Couric is not leaving CBS in 2 weeks, despite reports. But she might leave CBS after the elections in November. Sources at TMZ are saying that Katie might be replacing CBS with CNN. She even might take Larry Kings spot once he decides to retire.

Didn't Katie just make her big move from NBC to CBS? Now, she's gonna make another big move? Would you want Katie to take over Larry King's job?
