Kathy Griffin Sues KathyGriffin.com

Comedian Kathy Griffin is suing the owners of the website KathyGriffin.com for using her name without permission.

Kathy has filed a $100,000 lawsuit against the people operating the site. According to the lawsuit, "The harm to [Kathy Griffin] is direct and palpable."

The suit also claims that with Kathy's notoriety they are "reaping the uncompensated benefit from the unauthorized use of her name and identity."

One report claims that this summer, the owners of the site gave Kathy the chance to buy it back for $3,500. That doesn't sound like a lot of money to pay for your peace of mind.
