A judge has just denied Katherine Jackson of becoming the executor of Michael Jackson’s estate. According to TMZ, the original executors of his will since 2002—John Branca and John McClain—have been named special administrators of the estate until August 3rd.

Attorney Howard Weitzman spoke on behalf of Branca and McClain, saying that they wish to carry out Michael’s wishes as best as possible. He also sent his heartfelt condolences to the family.

Both sides will return to court on that date for a hearing. As for the custody of the children, Katherine Jackson remains in control until her hearing, which has been pushed back to July 13th.

Under intense scrutiny, I hope that these two men are honest and forthright and carry out Michael's wishes...didn't think that Katherine would be successful in a change at this point...

I hope MJ's will is iron clad and those who get...get. Were these men truly good to Michael? Do they have his best interests at heart? I guess it's a family matter...not mine.
