Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley welcome a second daughter! The couple have adopted another baby girl.
Heigl’s rep confirmed to People that the couple has indeed adopted, but few details are known at this time.
This is what we know: Heigl and Kelley adopted their new baby girl earlier this month and the little girl is from Louisiana.
The couple adopted their first daughter Naleigh from South Korea in 2009, Naleigh is now 3 years old.
I’m sure the young family is thrilled, as Heigl has talked about adoption for years.
“Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged,” says Heigl.
However, Heigl admits that she doesn’t rule out having biological children, she made this announcement in January: “We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I’d like to adopt again.”
When Heigl adopted Naleigh she was gushing over being a new mom, “Just the elation at every little thing she does – which I am going to have to tone down before she has the biggest head in the Universe.”
Heigl has always been a huge supporter of adoption as her older sister Meg was adopted from Korea three years before Heigl was born.
