Kate Winslet Was Evan Rachel Wood's Nudity Coach

If there’s one thing Kate Winslet knows how to do, other than win Oscars, it’s doing nudity with grace. So when her Mildred Pierce costar, Evan Rachel Wood, had to go full frontal, Kate was her naked coach.

"She coached me through my first nude scene," Wood said. "I mean, she's done it all. She was literally next to the camera going [thumbs-up]."

I think if my lady parts were hanging out, and I saw someone sticking their thumb up, it would only make me really, really nervous.

Wood also told Fancast, “I looked at Kate and she was like, ‘You've got to do it. Trust me, it's so brave. Put a Merkin on and you’ll be fine!’” If taking your clothes off on camera is brave, Bree Olson is a damn American Hero.

And before you Google Image search “merkin” on your work computer, let me save you a talk with HR and tell you a merkin is a pubic wig. Maybe that’s general knowledge, but my vocabulary certainly got more colorful today. And I'm already thinking of how I can use the word "Merkin" to make fun of Donald Trump's hair.
