I’m sure there are plenty of reasons for Kate Walsh to feel like a loser, but not having a kid shouldn’t be one of them.
"I would definitely love to be a parent. But I definitely don't think I want to do it on my own ... I thought I'd be married and have three or four kids."
At 43, the ex-Gray’s Anatomy actress now stars in the TV show Private Practice. She’s embracing her age and says she doesn’t diet.
“I do Pilates, and hike with my dog. As you get older, everything changes. Everything starts getting … looser. But I think it's important to accept that. I'm lucky. I've got pretty good genes. But I think it’s a weird thing to fight it.
I like how “I’ve got good genes” is the new way of saying “I think I’m the sh-t”.

Everyone always uses that lame excuse! But we're curious to know what really happened with them. They always seemed so cute and content with each other.
The date of separation is listed as November 22, 2008, just before Thanksgiving. Kate and Alex have been married since September of 2007. So sad.
It really makes us think people should just date longer, and save the wedding until they're absolutely sure!
UPDATE: Kate Walsh's rep just released the following statement to Extra: "Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young, and actress Kate Walsh. The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time."

Kate is overjoyed at the news, saying, "I think this is a great movement in American history. The American people want a change in their government and Barack Obama is the best person to lead and serve and bring about the real changes people want. I am thrilled."
Now we'll just have to see what happens with Hillary. Do you think she'll become Barack's running mate?

Kate Walsh was in Washington today speaking on behalf of peer educators, Planned Parenthood doctors, and health teachers for the Stand Up For Real Sex Education congressional briefing.
Her speech focused on the need for comprehensive, medically accurate, commonsense sex education programs. Gwyneth Paltrow's mom, Blythe Danner, was also there to lend her support. Ya mean the ole "condom demonstration on the banana" isn't working anymore. Guess it's time for an upgrade!

Last night it was a Grey’s Anatomy reunion for the premiere of Knocked Up. The romantic comedy stars the Grey’s star Katherine Heigl, who looked amazing in her knee length nude cocktail dress.
Her co-stars Sara Ramirez and newly engaged Kate Walsh showed up to give their support along with good pal Ryan Seacrest.
The buzz around town is that Katherine will be making a smooth transition from TV to the film screen. People are calling her the new queen of romantic comedies. Check out the movie trailer and you decide.

Young Hollywood headed east last night to attend the 8th Annual Maxim Hot 100 event held at the Gansevoort Hotel in New York.
Lindsay Lohan was the leading lady of the night sporting a rainbow themed skin tight dress as she celebrated being Maxim’s 2007 #1 Hot 100 pick.
Others that attended the party included the Duff sisters(Hilary's dress was sooo cute), Kim Kardashian, Avril Lavigne, the newly engaged Kate Walsh and many more.

Last night the stars made their way to the 18th annual GLAAD Media Awards which took place at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The annual show recognizes fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the Gay and Lesbian community.
Actress Jennifer Aniston received the “Vanguard Award” for her portrayel of a lesbian on the FX hit series ”Dirt”. Jennifer’s good friend and co-star from “The Good Girl” actor Jake Gyllenhaal, presented the award in which they reinacted the “kiss” from “Dirt”. Jennifer looked amazing in her short shirt dress.
While other stars such asNeil Patrick Harris, T.R. Knight and Lance Bass received rousing ovations from the crowd for acknowledging that they are gay and taking the bold step this past year. Others that attended the event included the beautiful Rebecca Romijn, Eva Mendes, Katherine Heigly, Ben Affleck, Kate Walsh, America Ferrera among others.

My favorite actress of the moment, Katherine Heigl has dropped out of contract talks with Grey's Anatomy over her salary. She's seriously the only reason I watch that show, she's soooo good!
"Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," the source says.
You know why this pisses me off? I'm an avid fan of the show and the only reason I watch it is because of Izzie. She is such an amazing actress! Last week when all the drama went down with Meredith Grey, when Izzie did her little speech about 'believing in the good' I was crying like a little baby. She actually makes you feel her emotions.
In more Grey’s news, the stars of the show are "feeling blindsided," after the news about a spin-off featuring Kate Walsh's character. "The rest of the cast seemed instantly resentful of [Walsh]," says a source, because they all thought they were going to get their own show.
