Supermodel Kate Moss isn’t the only designer who launched
her clothing line today. Her fello Brit rival Lily Allen
debuted her own dress collection “Lily Loves” at London's flagship
New Look store on Oxford Street.
Lily has insisted in recent weeks that she isn't threatened by Kate’s line
and is convinced that her line will do better, because she is a better
role model than her stick thin rival. She mentioned that fashion should be for everyone and “not just a load of super-skinny models."
In the meantime, Kate is finding success not only in the UK but here in the States. Her clothing line for 'Topshop' has sold out online in the US just hours after going on sale. The Kate Moss collection became available a minute after midnight on Wednesday May 9 online from US retailer
Barneys. But within hours a notice on their website told shoppers the
collection was 'temporarily sold out'. The clothes are also available in
Barneys stores nationwide and a New York boutique. Looks like the
designer sales battle is on!
