Katherine Ann Moss was born in Addiscombe, Croydon, South London, England to Peter Edward Moss who was an airline clerk and Linda Rosina who was a boutique manager. Moss' parents divorced when she was 13.
Moss is one of the most controversial supermodels that has been on the cover of endless magazines and tabloids due to her walfish figure, cocaine scandals and on and off relationship with junkie ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty.
Kate Moss was discovered at the age of 14 by model manager Sarah Doukas in 1988, at JFK Airport in New York City, after a vacation in the Bahamas. She has appeared on over 300 magazine covers. She is one of the most recognized supermodels in the world.
