Besides the doctors and the nurses and (duh) Kate Middleton, who else will be in the delivery room to welcome the royal baby next month?
The Daily Mail has the inside word apparently on who’ll be at Kate’s side the moment she ushers in a new generation of royalty.
On hand to assist the nurse will be Prince William, naturally—St. James’s Palace already revealed his intentions to be there, and there’s a contingency plan in place to chopper him from North Wales where he’s currently honoring his search-and-rescue duties, to St. Mary’s Hospital in London the second she goes into labor—but there are other family members who are set to offer a supportive hand.
For instance, Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, is expected to be on hand, along with their mom, Carole Middleton. The possibility of having any more bodies than that in the room is limited, considering this is already a crowd.
We’ll all know soon thereafter the gender of the royal baby via a traditional bulleting/posting on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace.
