The royals climbed down from their throne long enough to slum it with the basics of London.
When they aren’t being chauffeured around the UK in their royal fleet of Range Rovers, the royals take public transportation.
In honor of Remembrance Day (the British equivalent of Veterans Day) Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry rode the London tube with a few veterans, volunteers and something called Poppy Day VIPs. Whatever. All that matters is that the royals rode the subway!
From these photos, Kate looks transfixed (or bored) by the conversation. Although, she was overheard telling a group of men that she once learned how to fly a plane.
“My grandfather flew planes,” she told the men. “I’ve had a few lessons on fixed wing.”
What a show off.
