They’ll be in California for just three short days starting July 8th. What’s first on their agenda? They’ll meet with up and coming entrepreneurs at a UKTI reception at the Beverly Hilton followed by a meet-and-greet with senior politicians and other high-profile figures at the Consular General's resident in Los Angeles.
The following morning they’ll head out to Santa Barbara for The Foundation Polo Challenge, where the Duke and Duchess will give out prizes. Kate will focus "on supporting British interest in California through the prism of their own interests," says an official spokesperson from St. James's Palace.
They’ll be back in LA that same night to rub elbows with some of the biggest stars on the planet. Will and Kate are not only scheduled to attend the BAFTA’s, Will is set to give a speech at the awards ceremony. The event is meant to spotlight "up and coming British talent," according to St. James'.
They’ll spend their last day visiting the inner city art school and will also attend the Service Nation: Mission Serve job fair for veterans at the Sony Studios in Culver City.
That’s a jam-packed schedule! And if you’re planning on following the royal couple around southern Cali, good news is they won’t be separating much so you’ll get a glimpse of them together. They’re a packaged deal now. So excited for the royal visit!
