Magazine Apologizes for Criticizing Kate Middleton’s Post-Baby Body

Following the birth of His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, Kate Middleton’s figure has been splashed on the cover of every single magazine, naturally. However, there’s one magazine that’s wishing they didn’t…

UK tabloid OK! ran a cover featuring Kate with the ridiculous headline, “KATE’S POST-BABY WEIGHT LOSS REGIME,” with an interview accompanying it with her supposed personal trainer talking about how “her stomach will shrink straight back” eventually.

The article doesn’t say anything negative about her; it’s the timing that has everyone shaking their heads. New moms, especially, are upset because SHE JUST GAVE BIRTH, so can we stop pressuring Kate to lose the baby weight.

A spokesperson for the magazine’s publisher apologized, “Kate is one of the great beauties of our age and OK! readers love her. Like the rest of the world, we were very moved by her radiance as she and Prince William introduced the Prince of Cambridge to the world.”

“We would not dream of being critical of her appearance. If that was misunderstood on our cover, it was not intended.”
