Rumor has it--all the rumors about Kate are making Kate sad. Specifically, the pregnancy talk is really starting to take its toll.
"The constant rumors about Kate being pregnant, or not being pregnant, make her feel uncomfortable," a source close to Middleton tells Us Weekly.
But this is a chick who was once given the nickname "Waity Katy." I'm pretty sure she's learned how to deal with her name in headlines by this point.
"Seeing stories that talk about her health is really hurtful. It's difficult to just ignore them."
Middleton apparently "understands that there is interest," because she's in the public eye.
There's a Kate Middleton Barbie, a Kate Middleton wax figure, and even a Kate Middleton lookalike you can hire for parties—I think "there is interest" is a little bit of an understatement. "Certain [outlets] push things too far," the source explains.
"This week there have been stories about IVF, baby buzz speculation and what not. Usually they don't mind anything that is written, but this is a little different because it's so personal."
And William is reportedly doing his best to console her:
"William doesn't like to see her get bogged down about these things."
I'm sorry, I just have a really hard time imagining Kate Middleton curled up in the fetal position with a copy of a celebrity gossip mag, rocking back and forth, while William pats her back.
"They have only been married for one year and they are not rushing to have a baby," the source says. "Both William and Kate want their first child to happen naturally and at the right time."
