Holy nip slip! It’s more naked Kate Middleton action.
Following headlines that the Duchess of Cambridge was captured sunbathing topless, things seem to be snowballing more out of control for the royal palace. More nude photos have been printed now by an Italian tabloid.
A new 26-page feature story was published in Rome’s gossip magazine, Chi, featuring scandalous photos that showed Kate’s exposed breasts.
Many of the shots are the same photos that appeared French tabloid Closer, that rocketed the story into headlines last week.
Both magazines are under the ownership of Italian ex-prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, who was asked not to run the topless shots in the first place.
Some photos were also reportedly printed in an Irish newspaper.
Since the arrival of the first shots, Kate has taken legal action against the Closer, filing a lawsuit for invasion of privacy.
As Hollyscoop previously reported, the Palace has since confirmed that legal action was underway, issuing the following statement:
“St James's Palace confirms that legal proceedings for breach of privacy have been commenced today in France by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge against the Publishers of Closer Magazine France.”
The photos were snapped while the royal couple was relaxing at a private chateau in Provence, France.
According to USA Today, Kate’s French lawyers are seeking a ban to stop further printing and distribution of the photos and possibly even jail time for distributors under the country’s privacy laws.
Meanwhile, Will and Kate are currently continuing their tour of the South Pacific in honor of the queen as if nothing’s wrong. As of Monday, they are currently stationed in the Solomon Islands.
