The royal couple was all smiles during a visit to the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple—their first official UK appearance since topless nudes of the Duchess of Cambridge sunbathing at a private residence were published in a French magazine.
Despite the fiasco, the two 30 year olds made it through their stressful September, carrying out their royal duties and press appearances as they traveled through a nine-day Jubilee Tour of Asia and the South Pacific.
She may have been sharing a laugh with husband Prince William while signing the society’s visitor book, but a source close to Kate says she’s still furious over the images. She’s just “determined to get on with things and forget about” it, however.
And get on with things she did in a Paule Ka designed equestrian-chic burgundy tiered skirt and matching jacket she paired with black tights and velvet heels. Prince William, in a show of style solidarity, matched Kate’s hue with his own burgundy neck tie.
At the appearance, the steadfast pair oversaw the announcement of a brand new award series of scholarships for law students seeking financial aid or overcome adversity in their education. Maybe one of the program’s future graduates will be able to assist in the couple’s lawsuit against that French magazine or something.
