No one knows when Kate Middleton is going to give birth. That’s the lesson we can all learn from this royal baby, which all media outlets will be revolving around until it graces us with its presence, which at this point is a few days late.
According to E! News, a source informed them that Kensington Palace is operating under the assumption that Kate’s two to three days late.
Earlier reports said she was due on July 13 or 14, however The Telegraph has now published a conflicting report claiming Kate’s due date is today, July 19, a piece of information they’ve known for about a month now. They’re reportedly on standby for the Duchess. Hospital staff were forewarned to be on their best behavior, instructing them to remain sober for the time being; “they couldn’t drink from June 19 onwards,” a source revealed.
Of course, due dates are just estimates. There’s really no mathematical formula to suggest at what second Kate will show up at St. Mary’s Hospital and it’s placed her under intense scrutiny. The whole affair even has a new moniker: “The Great Kate Wait.”
