Time for Kate Middleton to start punching her time card again, because duty calls!
The Duchess of Cambridge will be clocking back in to work (yes, that’s what they call it: “work”) and observing her royal responsibilities—besides taking care of Prince George Alexander Louis that is—by attending her first official public engagement since the birth of the royal baby.
Palace sources have confirmed to the Daily Mail that she and her husband, Prince William, will be the guests of honor at the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards on September 12. Which means we’re less than a month away from knowing whether Kate will wear Jenny Packham or Burberry—y’know, IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
The event will be hosted by the Tusk Trust, a UK charity that champions African conservation projects, which are all causes close to William’s heart; Africa and its endangered species were also passion projects of his mother Princess Diana.
Together, the royal couple will honor wildlife conservationists who’ve devoted their life’s work to the organization’s mission.
