Kate Middleton and Prince William On Site At Grand Opening of England Football Facility

It’s a side of the royal couple that we haven’t seen in a while… Clothed.

In the wake of some seriously sour reports showcasing Kate Middelton and her husband Prince William in the nude, some good press surely comes as a breath of fresh air for the royal family. Today, the Duke and Duchess were on site for the grand opening of England’s new, state-or-the-art football facility.

The royal couple were guests of honor at St. George’s Park to officially open the Football Association’s National Football Center.

Per usual (other than in recent tabloids), the couple looked as prim and proper. Kate wore a stylish military grey, Reiss wool coat as William stuck to his typical navy suit.

They unveiled the facility in front of a gathered audience of suits, where Will spoke about the meaning of such a facility for England’s athletic future.

And, despite Kate’s tendency to favor sports like hockey and tennis, the staff and athletes at the FA site seemed to welcome the couple with open arms.

In addition to the formal opening ceremony, Kate and Will were treated to a extensive tour of what the 330-acre facility had to offer… 12 professional fields, hydrotherapy suites, biomechanic gyms (whatever that means), video analysis and more…

British Parliament member Andrew Griffiths relayed a conversation he had with the Duke on site to the UK’s Daily Mail.

“He [Will] asked me if I thought the center would deliver an England World Cup win. I said 'of course, guaranteed,'” said Griffiths. “There was a wry smile. That about sums it up.”

Here’s where I would make a clever joke about England’s soccer team… Unfortunately a US World Cup outcome in the future is just as impractical.

Fear not, Americaners... We can still beat the Brits in obesity numbers, national debt and self indulgence. #USA!
