How Kate Middleton Will Spend Her First Royal Christmas

Now that Kate Middleton is officially the Duchess of Cambridge, what can she expect from the long weekend of Holiday festivities with her new Royal in-laws? This isn't your regular Christmas with the in-laws, Middleton is expected to act normal around Queen Elizabeth and bring the perfect gift. But what do you bring the Queen of England!?

Royal sources say that the royals usually give each other "fun and jokey" gifts at the Holidays, because frankly they already have everything. So are you saying that Kate Middleton should bring Queen Elizabeth a gag gift for Christmas?

Queen Elizabeth: What is this?

Kate Middleton: Oh it's a "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" door-mat.

Queen Elizabeth: {Blank Stares]

"Kate has the brains to realize that you don't buy extravagant presents. The royals don't approve of that," says Royal source. "You give small, inexpensive things that are thoughtful. There's a lot of scurrying around by aides of royals asking other aides what their principles want for Christmas."

Middleton and the rest of the Royals will make the 110 mile trek north of London to Sandringham House, where they will kick-off Christmas Eve with a present exchange. On Christmas Day there is a parade to church, followed by breakfast and a traditional lunch of roast turkey or game. Then they will have dinner and parlor games, like The Queen's favorites like jigsaw puzzles and Scrabble.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that they don't play drunk Charades.
