Imagine being able to just take off from work and still not have to worry about your bills being paid on time? Well that’s what happens when you’re a celebrity. You don’t ever have to look at your savings account and see if it’s feasible.
Kate Hudson has decided to do just that—take the year of 2009 off. She doesn’t want to make any movies this year, because she’d rather spend time with her son Ryder. Well at least she’s doing it for the right reasons!
It’s been a busy last few months for Kate. Right after filming wrapped on Bride Wars, she hit the road for a worldwide promotional tour. And on top of that, she’s been shooting her new movie musical Nine.
She tells In Style, "Being a single parent can be difficult, but I don’t feel I am one. Chris and I are co-parenting and traveling is where it gets difficult.”
"Chris is on the road and I’ve had a busy last year, so I am going to take a break in 2009. I want to soak in every little part of who Ryder is."
That’s so sweet! At least Kate seems to have her priorities straight. Now enough with the serial dating too! Hopefully she’s decided to stop doing that, since we haven’t seen Owen Wilson around lately.
