Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez are getting serious! How serious? Well, serious enough for him to introduce her to his friends and we know that's always a big deal for guys.

Meanwhile, it turns out that A-Rod has had a crush on Hudson for 8 years. Apparently, he loved Hudson's performance in Almost Famous and after that he's had a big crush on her.

A source says, "It's his favorite movie. Alex has seen it dozens of times, and he fell for Kate the first time he saw it."

A-Rod and Hudson met at Miami Beach's Fontainebleau hotel opening last November, and have kept in touch.
