Kate Gosselin: Jon's Priority is Jon and His Interests

Round I and II: TLC. Round III: Kate Gosselin. TLC isn't the only slamming Jon Gosselin today. His soon to be ex wife Kate is siding with TLC and has slammed Jon and his erratic behavior.

In a statement, Kate says: "I'm saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids.

"I check in regularly with each of the kids to be sure they want to participate in and continue with the show and will continue to do so," Kate continues.

"I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn't otherwise have. Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show. It appears that Jon's priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains our children and their well-being."

Basically Jon is a little butt hurt that 'Jon' was taken out of the name of the show and he just realized that his paychecks are officially non-existent. What's a tool to do? Keep bashing the show apparently. We have a feeling TLC and Kate vs. Jon is far from over. More details coming soon!

I always thought that Jon was really good with the kids, and Kate was more the dominate one in the relationship. How cant she be though? With 8 children, someone has to maintain control and order within the house! Jon is upset he was removed from the show, but he brought it on himself! He knew cheating on his wife would get him caught, the cameras follow them everywhere! In PA to my understanding, if one of the parties cheats on the other, that party is not given sympathy or funds! In fact the cheating party is supposed to be held accountable for their actions and pay the spouse for being at fault! PA does have a no fault divorce option, but Jon has the cards stacked against him! No matter what he says now, the pictures don't lie! He is 100% guilty of cheating and ruining his family. Think of those poor children and what they are going through! Kate has done everything she could to be a stay at home mother of eight! She cooks everyday, cleans constently, does a wonderful job at teaching and interacting with those children. Having one child is hard enough let alone 8, 2 the same age, and 6 the same age! Can any of you imagine trying to live her life? When Jon cheated on Kate, he cheated on his family, bottom line! He may be a "Playboy", but he needs to pay for his actions! He left those kids hurting and dont think they dont see the pain he caused their mother! He wants to be a part of the show for fame and money, but how can he be a part of it when it is he who is subjecting his kids to his many different girlfriends, and it is he who ruined the marriage? If Kate wants to continue the show and the kids are happy about doing so, let them do it. The children look at the people of TLC as family, so why take more away from them and change their lifes again? I think pulling the show would just cause more disruption in the lives of the children. Last point, if the show stops, how will these children be able to maintain their lifestyle? If the show stops, so does the income. Then what? They just got adjusted to their new home and the money has to come from somewhere to make sure these children can stay in an environment that they are used to. With 8 children and in this economy, they won't have a shot at the opportunities that they have now, if the show is cancelled. I say keep the show, let Jon learn every action has a reaction, and don't let those children suffer anymore than they already have!

So Kate is a Saint...I think not..she is just as money hungry as Jon. Let's try to remember that he quit his job so that Kate could promote her book and travel with her bodyguard. And yes, Jon should probably get another job, but it must be difficult when you have become accustomed to a large paycheck.

lol aj love the rabbit on viagra comment. as much as i hate to agree. watch how fast he would change his tune if he started getting money fromn them again. why not offer him a show if he agrees to sign off on this his new show could be called jons dating game show, seems that there are plenty of skanky woman out there that think hes great. although i doubt many of them would pass the intense psy chlogical testing required

Since Kate didn't have virgin births, perhaps, the show should have kept the same title. However, with Jon acting like a rabbit on Viagara, I can understand where the network might want to remove him from the picture. Still, he is the kids' dad. I vote for either bringing back the original name, since this is a shared custody deal, or else giving it a different name altogether such as The Gosselin 8 or 8 Little Gosselins.

Jon only thinks of himself and nobody else. This has become evident this past year. He gets booted from the show, and he throws a temper tantrum. He was fine with everything until he learned he wouldn't be getting paid. I think his eight children are more mature than him. Honestly, who cares if they stop filming. Kate's getting her own show anyway. Is he going to try and put a stop to that as well? If Jon had any smarts at all he'd just stop all this nonsense, he's brought it all on himself. Karmas a bitch!
