Another case of he-said, she-said. Earlier today
Jon Gosselin's lawyer Mark Heller made a public statement about how Jon was in "complete compliance" because he returned the $180K to a joint account he shares with
Kate Gosselin. But according to Kate, most of the money is still missing.
Kate's lawyer Mark Momjian tells
Radaronline that Jon has only put back $28,500. Momjian said, “Mr. Heller doesn’t represent Jon Gosselin in the divorce action in state of Pennsylvania so it’s a little puzzling to us why he’s making statements on a case he is not counsel of record on.
"He’s withdrawn his application to be admitted specially in Pennsylvania. All I can tell you is Jon Gosselin has until Monday to put all the money back and we hope he complies.
Momjian added, “We’ve only seen a very small a very small partial compliance as of today but he has until Monday. Regardless of Mr. Heller’s comment, we haven’t received confirmation that he’s returned the $151,500 that he needs to pay to bring his total to $180,000. We don’t have confirmation of that.
These two are a big mess! We were hoping their star power would die out once news broke of their reality show getting canceled, but it doesn't look like they're going anywhere anytime soon. Bummer.
UPDATE: Kate Gosselin's lawyers received an email from Jon Gosselin's Pennsylvania lawyer claiming that he has $152,000 from Jon that will repay Kate for the money he took from the joint account.
