Jon Gosselin has been busy partying around town and making out with his girlfriend for the paps,
Kate Gosselin has been making the media rounds.
Kate and her hair made a pit stop at 'The View' this morning, filling in for
Elisabeth Hasselbeck. And during the "Hot Topic" segment, Kate defended her decision to keep filming after her marriage fell apart.
She explained, "I could stop and I would still have all of the flack and the lack of a paycheck. I'm a single mom, and now more than ever I need to be out there working hard," Kate said. "My focus is supporting my children and whatever way that [is]... I'm going to do it."
Unlike Jon, Kate kept it classy and didn't bash Jon and his new relationship with 22 year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman. She simply called the situation "difficult." She said she was taking the "high road" with topics like that in order to protect her children.
She said, “The truth, for the sake of my children, I’m going to take the high road [and not talk about it]. I melted down over the weekend. In the privacy of my own home, I melted down. It’s difficult. It’s difficult to wake up every day and wonder what things are going to be thrown my way.”
During the show it was so easy to dislike Kate and feel sympathy for Jon, but as soon as the cameras stopped rolling and Jon became a douchebag, we can't help but side with Kate a little bit. Are you over the Gosselin's?
