Talk about the tables turning! Jon Gosselin is reportedly going to sue his ex-wife Kate Gosselin to get primary custody of their eight kids!
According to TMZ, Jon is planning on filing an emergency petition in court, calling Kate an “absentee mom.” Jon’s lawyer Anthony F. List says Kate’s current stint on Dancing With the Stars prevents her from spending any “quality time” with her children.
A source close to Jon tells Us Weekly that he "seems genuinely upset that the kids are growing up with strangers most of the time. Even when Kate's at the house, she has a nanny there to do all the work."
In addition, Jon is trying to make changes to the ruling in which he must pay Kate $22,000 a month in child support, something he calls “ridiculous.”
Meanwhile, Kate’s attorney Mark Momijan has already fired back, calling Jon’s request for primary custody “reckless and offensive.” He told Radar Online, "We haven’t received any formal filing yet but I can’t imagine anything farther from the truth. Kate is a devoted mother. Her concern for the welfare of her kids is so prominent that any allegations like this report are reckless and so far from the mark, it’s offensive."
An unnamed source says Jon is just projecting his anger on Kate after his girlfriend recently broke up with him. "Jon was recently dumped by his new girlfriend Morgan Christie," said the source. “Whenever something like that happens, he lashes out."
Who do you side with? We’re not huge fans of either party, but we definitely think Kate deserves primary custody. Yes, she’s busy with DWTS. But she and Tony Dovolani rehearse in the basement of the home in Pennsylvania she shares with her kids. Plus, there’s a good chance she’s going to be one of the next contestants to be kicked off DWTS, so Jon can go back to minding his own business!
