Kate Gosselin says she and her husband
Jon Gosselin have been living "separate and apart" for at least two years! What about the show? It was all fake?
In the papers Kate claimed their 10 year marriage is "irretrievably broken."
According to
Momlogic, Kate also says they have been unable to agree on dividing their assets, which includes the $1.1 million dollar home TLC bought for the family.
Up until a few months ago everything seemed fine between Jon & Kate. Sure he looked miserable from time to time, but who wouldn't be if they had to hang around Kate all the time?
The couple reportedly makes $75,000 an episode, so they have no intention of quitting their hit show. Thanks to Monday night's divorce announcement, TLC posted the biggest primetime audience in its history and averaged a whopping 10.6 million viewers.
The show is on hiatus until August, so we'll have to wait a while to see how the divorce pans out for the cameras.
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that since Pennsylvania is a no fault state for divorce, if a husband and wife agree that the marriage is totally over, then the divorce can proceed.
But if Jon doesn't agree that their marriage is "irretrievably broken," then Kate can fall back on box number two, which said they've been separated for two years. Kate checked the box just to get the clock ticking.
