Kate Gosselin's marriage may be on the rocks, but TLC plans on chronicling the whole thing on the next season of
Jon & Kate Plus 8.
Thanks to a cheating scandal, the season five premiere of the TLC show attracted 9.8 million viewers--more than double the audience for its fourth season finale several weeks ago.
So while Jon & Kate may be at each others throats, and possibly in others peoples beds, TLC will continue on with the show because "the family wants to do it."
"The show's ratings have grown consistently, as there has been interest in these real-life issues of this real-life family," TLC said in a statement to E! News on Wednesday.
"We will continue to air as the interest continues, and the family wants to do it."
Of course the family wants to do it, they're banking off the show! TLC bought the $1 million dollar home the family lives in, and they make up to $75,000 per episode. And we're not even going to start with all the freebies they get.
