Kate Beckinsale On Staring In 'Fifty Shades of Grey': It Sounds Exhausting

Of all the women salivating over the new phenomenon that is Fifty Shades of Grey, one of those ladies is not Kate Beckinsale.

Kate’s new movie Total Recall opens in theaters this weekend and the stars gathered at the Los Angeles premiere.

Hollyscoop caught up with Kate to talk about the film, looking great, and – more importantly – what lies ahead in her career.

In addition to starring alongside Colin Farell in Recall remake, it has been rumored that Kate might be taking her good looks to another equally hyped motion picture… Fifty Shades of Grey. However, after asking her, those rumors don’t seem to pan out.

“Is it really?” Kate responded when asked about her name being considered for the part of Ana.

She continued, adding a touch of humor, “I haven't read it so I can't really say. The whole idea of that sounds very exhausting to me.”

Kate plays the sexy Lori Quaid in Recall, Colin’s character's wife who ends up turning against him. The role was originally handled by Sharon Stone in the 1990 version of the film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

As looking good both on and off screen seems to come effortlessly for the actress, when it comes to showing her best on the carpet, her advice it to keep it simple…

“Make sure you have deodorant on,” she said.

Also present at the event were co-stars Colin, Jessica Biel – as heavenly as ever – and everyone’s new favorite All-American villain Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad” who plays Cohaagen in the film.

Total Recall opens in theaters Friday, August 3.
