Kat Von D is just giving up at this point. After bailing on Good Day L.A. and then writing an essay on why she sucks, Von D canceled her interview with E! News hours before she was scheduled to appear to promote her show L.A. Ink.
"I admit I'm not strong enough to do all the press I committed to doing for the show," Von D said.
Here's what I don't get. You're going to Facebook and saying all this stuff anyway, why not go ahead and do the interview? Could it be because you're actually getting more press by just giving up? I mean, we're probably talking about her more now than if she would've just gone to these interviews and said something boring and diplomatic about Jesse James, followed by, "oh yeah, watch L.A. Ink!"
Whether or not this "f-ck it" attitude is a publicity stunt, I will admittedly be watching this show. But then again, I also tune in to Teen Mom, so that tells you how sophisticated my television palate is.
Not only has Kat cancelled her E! News interview, according to her reps, she's done with the remainder of her promo tour, period.
This whole thing started with Good Day L.A. prefacing her interview with a clip from L.A. Ink in which Kat gets a giant tattoo of Jesse James. Since the breakup, Kat has announced she will keep the tattoo. As if it matters.
I really don't think anyone would notice another tat, because at this point, Kat Von D's body looks like something Banksy got a hold of. And, anyway, the tattoo is of James' fifth grade school photo--it doesn't even look like him. It looks more like Ellen DeGeneres circa 1997.
