Aww sad news for Kat von D, her show LA Ink just got cancelled. Now where am I going to see people get ink injected into their pores? There aren't enough TV shows about people getting tattoos!!!
The show was awkward enough to watch, all of the current season focused on her relationship with Jesse James, and we all know how that ended.
TLC released the statement, "TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last. The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D's journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles."
Kat Von D herself had a different spin on the news, however.
"In an effort to capitalize on my recent breakup, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn't happen while filming," she tells PEOPLE. "I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and viewers."
Without a reality show or a high-profile D-List relationship, Kat Von D is just a tattoo artist. Can someone get this girl on Dancing with the Stars? Or Celebrity Rehab? Everyone in Hollywood goes to rehab at some point, right?
This hasn't been the best year for Kat Von D. In November, Kat Von D's house burned down and she lost her pet cat in the fire.
Then her engagement with Jesse James was called off and she had that embarrassing appearance on Good Day LA. Fresh off her break-up she stormed off the set of Good Day LA when they screened a promotional clip that only focused on her break-up with James. Von D charged off the set angrily tweeting, "Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for each other never fails to disappoint me."
Strangely enough, she agreed to all the interview questions and footage beforehand? She's just so unpredictable!
Then, I guess she felt bad about it, she wrote to facebook fans, "What can I say? I suck," which was an attempt to apologize for her behavior on Good Day LA.
She also (regrettably) got a tattoo of Jesse James on her armpit when they were engaged. The tattoo is of Jesse James as a child, though she says she has "no regrets" over the ink.
"I love my tattoo...it's more than just a portrait, it has a lot of meaning," Von D once told TMZ. Now she just has a tattoo of a little boy on her armpit. Not only is that creepy, is a horrible reminder of her failed relationship every time she shaves her underarms.
