Kara DioGuardi Gets Married

Congratulations to American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, who has just tied the knot! Kara married her general contractor boyfriend Mike McCuddy on Sunday in Prospect Harbor, Maine.

The two got engaged in December, and had their wedding at the United Methodist Church right across from the couple’s house, and invited only 30 guests.

Kara told In Touch Weekly, "I feel great. What was most unbelievable about the experience was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike, who were there for us. It was pretty powerful. I was very emotional and I'm not somebody who breaks down and cries.”

Luckily the weather was nice for the newlyweds. Kara said, “It's been raining in Maine for 60 days. The only day that was nice was yesterday!"
