Kanye West is talking up a storm about how he's going to reach out to
Taylor Swift and apologize for being a "jackass," as Obama put it, but Taylor insists she hasn't heard a peep from Kanye herself.
When asked if she would agree to meet with Kanye in person, Taylor told the women of
The View, "Sure...I mean, he has not personally reached out or anything."
She added, "I think my overall thought process went something like, 'Wow, I can't believe I won. This is awesome. Don't trip and fall. I'm going to get to thank the fans. This is so cool. Oh, Kanye West is here! Cool haircut.'"
After he grabbed the mic from her and told the audience that Beyonce deserved to win over Taylor, she thought, "'What are you doing there? ... Ouch.' And then, 'I guess I'm not gonna get to thank the fans."
Added Swift, "I'm not gonna say I wasn't rattled by it. All the artists came and showed me love and all the people Tweeting about it ... all the fans ... I never imagined there were that many people out there looking out for me, defending me so I didn't have to."
Last night Kanye was a special guest at the premiere of 'The Jay Leno' show where he confessed he was "ashamed" of his behavior and said he would "like to be able to apologize to her in person."
While Taylor patiently waits for her apology, radio stations across the nation are busy
banning all things Kanye.

The View, Kanye finally reached out to Taylor by phone, reports the AP. A rep for the show says Kanye made the personal apology and Swift accepted!
