Kanye West probably thinks that he doesn’t need to do any sort of publicity on his new album because well, he’s Kanye West.
After getting shut out of all five nominations for the second year in a row Kanye throws a hissy fit tirade backstage at the VMAs this year and swears he will never do anything for MTV again.
He’s been canceling appearances left and right. It started with the ‘Today’ show, then TRL and rumor has it that he might also cancel ‘Ellen’ and ‘SNL.’
You would think he would wanna do more publicity because of his “bet” with
50 Cent. "Kanye knows he is winning the album battle with 50 Cent and is so high on his horse that he can't even bother promoting his album," a source told The Post.
What people don’t realize is that Kanye is getting more publicity by doing things like canceling appearances. People are more interested in the gossip as to why Kanye canceled rather than if he were to appear on the shows and promote an album. Arrogant, but smart guy!
