Geez, aren’t we over the OBAMA/KARDASHIAN/KANYE DISS OF 2013 yet?
We totally are, but here’s the thing…Kanye West’s response to the Obama diss might have been the best thing ever, so here it is.
Long story short, Obama criticized celebs LIKE Kim and Kanye for living over-the-top rich lives played out in the media and giving kids unfair role models and unrealistic expectations about life, money and society.
Of course it’s 100% true, but whatever, here’s what Kanye says:
“So Obama basically said we’re the new American dream. I think he was posing it like I was supposed to take it in a negative way, but I’m just so happy that the president mentions me so often. Thank you very much, Obama!” Kanye smirked on the "Kris" show.
Ok touché, whatever. But here’s the next part that is so wildly out of touch with our crumbling economic reality, we can’t even read it without wanting to smack Kanye in the face with a golden croissant.
“I do think people should want to go on vacation or travel because that’s what opens people’s minds. So as Obama is talking about that, yes, they’re looking at what she’s wearing and where we’re going for vacation because this is the way that we relate to this new information age. There will be more people getting passports and wanting to travel. They’ll hear songs like ‘N*ggas in Paris’ and they’ll be like, I want to be a n*gga in Paris!”
Ha ha ha, let's all go to Paris because Kanye says so, what's money!?
