Kanye West Apologizes for Rude Outburst During MTV VMA's

If there are two things Kanye West is infamous for, it's his huge ego and rude outbursts.

Kanye stole the show last night when he rudely interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for 'Best Female Video' by grabbing the mic from her and proclaiming that Beyonce deserved the award instead.

MTV quickly cut to another clip after the audience started booing Kanye and Taylor reportedly walked off stage stunned only to burst into tears backstage.

Luckily the always graceful Beyonce gave Taylor another chance to shine by inviting her to join her on stage after Beyonce won Video of the Year award for ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’ for Taylor to finish her speech.

Beyonce said: “This is amazing. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life, so I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”

Feeling the backlash of his actions, Kanye took to his blog to apologize for his rude behavior.

He wrote: “I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom [Andrea]. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would’ve said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she’s in the bleachers! …………………… I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment.

"Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade!!! I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!!!! I’m sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world!!!! Everybody wanna booooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture!!! No disrespect but we watchin’ the show at the cribe right now cause….

"Well you know!!!! I’m still happy for Taylor!!!! Boooyaawww!!!! You are very talented!!!!! I gave my awards to Outkast when they deserved it over me… That’s what it is!!!! I’m not crazy yall, I’m just real. Sorry for that!!! I really feel bad for Taylor and I’m sincerely sorry!!! Much Respect!!!!!”

But his apology clearly didn't mean anything to some of his celebrity friends. Pink took to her twitter page to write, “Kanye West is the biggest piece of s**t on earth. Quote me,” while Katy Perry added, “F**K U KANYE. IT'S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN (sic).”

I don't have any respect for Kanye West. Honestly, people see how cocky and rude he is but still continue to put money in his pocket by supporting him! I remember when he first came out and how humble he was but now...the money, fame, and his ugly chick went to his head. I can't stand him. I've never heard of this guy in my life--or, at least, it wasn't memorable--but my first impression of him certainly doesn't impress me! I think he needs professional help when it comes to managing his anger.

I'm not really disappointed, since Kanye is a dickhole, but I am upset that he would be so rude to a fellow entertainer. It's very un-classy and I don't think he really meant his apologize.

Talk about huge ego. I didn't even see the incident and I would be sooo mad if my daughter had worked so hard to get to the point of that award and some idiot with an ego so big thought that he had would be "cute" and ruin her moment like that! All he thought about in that moment was himself. Not Beyonce or Taylor but Kayne! And I am sure if the reaction wasn't 100% negative he wouldn't have apologized. There is no excuse and no contrived apology will ever take away that memory or give back that moment to Taylor!

Maybe all the awards shows will STOP inviting him to the ceremonies or at the least, have a security guard assigned solely to keep him from rushing the stage. He must be a really insecure person to keep behaving this way. Or maybe they keep inviting him because they know he'll do something to keep everyone talking about their ceremony for a week. Either way, it's very sad that people have no respect for themselves or others. And even worse that certain people keep repeating bad behavior. BAN KANYE!

Kanye needs to learn some manners. He has his opinion and that is fine everyone does, but he doesn't have to show his a** on television. He should be penalized for his actions. He caused embarassment to Beyone and the MTV awards show. It is a shame that he acted so immaturely at his age.
